Primary cash surplus of €2.71 billion in the first quarter
Compared to €1.45 billion during the same period last year, the primary budget surplus on a cash basis climbed to €2.7 billion in the four months of January–April 2024 according to the Bank of Greece.

Final Eurostat data confirms that Greece's inflation rate, which was 3.2% in April, was the seventh highest in the European Union.
