Specifically, Aegean experienced a 13% rise in international traffic and a 3% increase in domestic traffic during this traditionally weaker time of year, with load factors remaining on par with the same period last year.

Overall, Aegean transported 16.3 million passengers in 2024, marking an annual increase of 6% compared to 2023, while offering over 19.7 million seats, an increase of 1.1 million, despite operational and geopolitical challenges, achieving yet another historical high in the airline's passenger traffic.
