Cautious positioning with buyers maintaining a marginal lead is the picture in the Athens market at the close of a roller coaster week.

The General Index is trading at 1,546.6 points with +0.14% and turnover at 12 million euros, while 1.8 million pieces have been traded.

The bank index is up 0.13% at 1,398 points, the FTSE is up 0.2% at 3,770 points, with the mid-cap FTSEM up -0.1% at 2,446 points.

Coca Cola continues to gain speed at +0.9%, while Aegean is up 1.1% and Metlen is up 0.8%.

Slightly up are the four systemics, Eurobank at €2.38 and Alpha at €1.75 with gains of around +0.5%, with NBG at €8.29 and Piraeus at €4.40 both marginally up.

PPC makes a small gain of 0.3% at 13.39 euros, with a turnover of 5.6 million already due to two packages worth 4.3 million that changed hands at 13.36 and 13.37 euros.

In the FTSE some liquidation is taking place in OPAP which moves -1.%, with Viohalco and Optima at -0.5%.

In mid caps, ADMIE and Quest show a slightly corrective mood at -0.5% after both jumped over 3% yesterday, while AVAX continues further upwards at +0.7%.

In the lower layers, EKTER continues its explosive run of the last few days, with new gains of 6.8% on trades exceeding 260k already in the first half hour.
