The Athens Stock Exchange continues at 14-year highs, with investors making exploratory moves in the area of 1,510 points, despite volatility and market fatigue.

The banking sector continues to provide valuable support while the Greek market remains at its highest levels since April 2011, confirming the upward trend of the early days of January.

The Athens yield so far exceeds +2.8% through 2025, but the prolonged uncertainty abroad comes to pose some obstacles to the attempt for a further climb towards 1,550.

Specifically, in the last session of the week, the General Index is up marginally by 0.17% to 1,513.46 points, gaining 2.5 points compared to Thursday's close (1,510.93 points).

The arc of daily fluctuations extends over five points (from 1,508.42 to 1,513.88 points), with a turnover of 51 million euros, of which 7.2 million euros are pre-agreed packages.

On the board, now, Alpha is approaching the 7-month highs of EUR 1.75, while Eurobank continues above EUR 2.3. Titan Cement also returns to 40 euros. On the other hand, ELVALHALKOR corrects below 2.2 euros.
