Very close to Saint Barth is one of the two Caribbean resorts that the Sani/Ikos group is discussing a takeover of. In fact, visits to the resorts have been underway since last winter, and the procedures are at an advanced stage. With this move, the group seeks to break the seasonality that still characterises its units in Greece and Spain, as the season is much longer in the Caribbean. The investment there is estimated to exceed $200 million if renovations and upgrades are factored in.
