CAP Ingelec describes as strategic its cooperation with DATA 4, for the creation of a 15 MW data center in Peania. 

CAP Ingelec's French and Greek teams, which have been working together for 1.5 years to design the project, have obtained all the necessary permits and started the implementation of the project. As stated, this is an efficient and environmentally friendly data center that meets the highest security standards, based on high-performance data center design expertise.

COOPERATION WITH LOCAL COMPANIES

According to a statement, "CAP Ingelec, in close collaboration with local partners (engineers, design & technical companies), is working to create a data center that is exemplary in every aspect," such as:

  • In the technical field: It imparts its high level of know-how to Greek companies in the data center sector, which is still at an early stage in Greece
  • In the social & economic sector: It benefits local businesses (subcontractors and suppliers), supporting the local economy
  • In the environmental sector, it aims for the highest certifications in terms of energy efficiency and environmental impact. The project will receive BREEAM certification
    In the area of safety: The company's strict health and safety policy guarantees a safe construction site for all

THE COMPANY'S PROFILE

CAP Ingelec has 600 employees with a presence in France, Spain, Italy and Greece and is expected to have a turnover of €450 million by 2024. The company designs, builds and delivers turnkey complex projects of high quality and technology, such as data centres, bioengines, clean rooms and high-voltage substations. In the data centre sector, in which it is a leader in Europe, it has implemented over 1,800 projects (new or renovation), with a surface area of 550,000 sqm and a total installed capacity of 1.5 GW.
